Lmp is publishing several works by Osamu Yaguchi, solo violinist of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra. Elegy and Berceuse are both for string quartet, they show an endearing musicality and obviously a perfect knowledge of writing for string instruments. Preludio is an arrangement for 4 violins of the well-known Praeludum of Bach’s 3rd Partita. We believe it is a valuable contribution to the repertoire for strings.
